Energy Tax Credit – a maximum tax credit of $1,500 equal to 30 percent of the product cost is available for qualifying products purchased between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2010. Some installation costs qualify for the credit and some do not. Be sure to obtain an itemized invoice from your retailer or installer.
